About the Society
RAM LAL ANAND COLLEGE proudly announces the ethos and the working philosophy of its Green Campus Committee which is primarily related not only dealing with challenges of environment but is also working towards management of the biodiversity crisis. The committee is working with the objective of “Restore, Recreate and Reorganize” and is extremely committed towards creating healthy and green environment within the college campus. As it is the prime duty of Indian universities to align their operation and educational priorities around relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the college through this committee strives to enrich itself with huge variety of herbs and plants in the herbal garden which will lead not only to the holistic development of the students but also make them aware and generate the sense of belongingness in relation to the environment. The Committee is not only committed towards plantation of new trees, herbs and shrubs within the campus but is also focussing towards inculcating the values of the rich Indian tradition of protection and worshiping the trees, adopting and nurturing them and is also taking pride in announcing that the Institution will thrive to create a sustainable and green campus.
