Course Prospects

This course is designed for students looking for a programme with a broad foundation and practical skills. The course suits those with a primary interest in software system design. It has a strong practical programming theme. The three years provide a solid grounding in contemporary computer sciences through a close integration of practical and theoretical topics. While programming is fundamental, a strong emphasis is placed on system design and evaluation.

Scope And Opportunities

After this course students can pursue post graduate courses e.g. M.Sc., MCA, MIT, MBA, MS and M.Sc. (Operation Research). There are excellent job prospects in industry, commerce and the public sectors. The growth in network services on computers in the office, home, and on mobile handheld devices, has increased the demand for experts who can design, implement and manage systems combining rich computational, communication and multimedia facilities for non-specialist users.

Well equipped laboratories with state of the art infrastructure including servers, desktops, network, laser printers, networking equipments, broadband internet connectivity and roof mounted LCD projector.
