History is not what is past, but the past which is forever made present. As a discipline, history allows the past to repeat itself. History covers the evolution of human civilization from time immemorial to present times. The course gives a good understanding of human strengths and limitations to the students. Faculty members of this department have diversified scholarly interests which enable them to respond creatively to the emerging needs of student community.
