An Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) is being constituted comprising of the following members as per the National Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical and Health Research Involving Human Participants, 2017 of ICMR. The IEC will review and approve all research proposals submitted by the faculty of the college on biomedical, social and behavioural science research for health involving human participants, their biological material and data safeguard the dignity, rights, safety and well-being of all research participants. The IEC will also monitor the approved research to ensure ethical compliance during the conduct of research. The IEC membership is initially for two years. The honorarium will be paid to the outside members as per the University of Delhi rules.
