Medical & Counselling Facilities

The College makes available the services of a qualified Doctor and a professional Counsellor on a part-time basis.

Placement Cell

This committee is involved in contacting various multinational companies in different fields for arranging placement interactions in several rounds for III year students. Selected candidates are interviewed in round and offered suitable job positions. This committee also conducts workshops for prerequirements to apply for jobs such as resume Writing.

Library

Librarian: Mrs Lata Gaur
  • A well-stocked library with books and magazines. Each student is issued 4 library cards on which they can get books issued.
  • Library also subscribes to a number of international & national journals for gaining knowledge about the ongoing research in India and around the world.
  • The students can also get access to many e-journals and e-learning facilities of University of Delhi through its website when accessing through the university of Delhi server.

Committee Against Sexual Harassment (Ordinance XV-D)

To maintain and create an academic and work environment free of sexual harassment for all members of the university community, Delhi University adopted an ordinance on "Sexual Harassment" in 2003. In keeping with this, the college has a duly elected Committee against sexual harassment comprising of students, teachers, non-teaching staff and nominated legal experts. The Committee will ensure to create an atmosphere promoting equality and gender justice in the College. Complaints against sexual harassment from any member of the College community are attended to by the Committee.

Monitoring Committee Against Ragging (Ordinance XV-C)

The Supreme Court has defined 'ragging' as "an act which has the effect of teasing indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities (likely to cause) hardship or psychological harm....in a fresher..." Students indulging in ragging will be punished as per law.

Financial Support

The College renders financial aid to needy students by granting :
  • Fee concession
  • Student aid fund
  • Scholarships to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students (University of Delhi holds a competitive examination in the month of October to award an All India Entrance Scholarship. 50 scholarships, each of the value of Rs. 250/- per month, tenable for three years are awarded for pursuing a course of study for an honours degree in the University. The competition is open to students who have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (Under 10+2 scheme) from CBSE or an equivalent examination with 55% marks in aggregate.
